There are a variety of options for students who have earned some amount of undergraduate credits who are looking to finish their bachelor’s degree with an online degree completion program. Bachelor degrees require students to complete 120 credits, which usually takes four years to finish, however if you transfer a large amount of credits you can considerably cut down the time that it will take you to graduate. Schools have different transfer policies, but many of the best degree completion programs allow their students to transfer up to 90 credits from other institutions, which lets students complete their degree within one year or less. Additionally, some schools award credit for military or professional experience if you are employed within the field of your academic major. Students looking to complete their degree should contact an academic advisor at their desired schools to make sure they are transferring the largest amount of credits possible.
