If you’re searching for a prominent business career that provides long-term job security and excellent salary potential, accounting could be the answer. Accountants are skilled financial professionals who hold at least a bachelor’s degree to expertly handle the cash flow for small to large organizations. Budgeting, auditing, bookkeeping, and taxes are all within an accountant’s robust wheelhouse. Advanced positions go to Certified Public Accountants who can legally file reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

We formed our ranking by narrowing down the business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Each prospective university had to offer an accounting degree or concentration that significantly broadened students’ industry knowledge. We consulted with the U.S. News and World Report to determine the best undergraduate business schools based on prestige. Extra brownie points were given to those mentioned in the Public Accounting Report. The average annual net price was recorded from the NCES to judge affordability. Other important factors were financial aid, specializations, global opportunity, retention, class size, internships, and recruitment.
